How I thought that You would never come,
I don't know  my Lord, why I doubted You,
Should have trusted  my Lord in Your love;

It's a human trait when you don't trust in the Lord,
And if anyone's human  the Lord it’s me, 
Please forgive me Lord, for my sins are great,
I hope you understand, I hope you understand.

Your disciples  now they look down at me,
There are times when you lose the true meaning,
A  simple act of a thankful child,
Yes through You, I'm a child of the King!

I rejoice in the Love that I can now claim as mine,
How unselfish and pure your love for me,
I know You will see my gift in this light,
I know you understand, Yes my Lord understands.
